On November 18, 2024, rPlus Energies, partnering with TSJ Construction and other donors, established two scholarships in conjunction with the construction of the Green River Energy Center for students of USU-Eastern residing in Carbon or Emery Counties. The Local First Scholarship is exclusive to local students who desire to stay in the area after graduation. The Energy First Scholarship is provided to students who pursue energy-related courses such as welding technology, diesel mechanics, or heavy equipment operation.
